Where could I get the fragrance that they put in Air conditioning systems?

I was referring to the fragrance that makes the house feel like a home in "America". I live in a lowly apartment, and I didn't bother asking the owner of the house that I last visited in a good posh neighborhood. Where could I get such and what is the name of that fragrance?
