   top review man.. this fragrance is the top of the bunch for me! lady’s love this…this is a very safe blind buy for anyone thats thinking about it! buy it.. its awesome.

   i agree with you’re take on it…definitely for a confident man.. not a youngster, i have been wearing this in the office. lots of compliments from women my age. it is distintive and exudes a confidence. a mature scent. reminds me of those strong masculine barber shop scents just better..i am glad it doesn’t appeal to everyone. that has been the challenge for me finding something that is unique and different from what all the young guys wear, their scents are too sweet for my taste. ty..

   I disagree with you on this one. I bought this blind after numerous positive reviews.

   I want to give everyone a caution – this is not a scent most people like. It’s the opposite of fresh – it’s dirty, heavy and dark. The overall effect is of rotten orange poured in a tar pit.

   Not something for everyone, I found it VERY strong and VERY offensive. My girlfriend hated it and my friends had very negative reaction to this. If you are under 30-35 this one will be hard to wear and will offend.

   My favorite fragrance hands down. Has become my signature frag…get loads of compliments and I love it besides.

   Man …. I just got this … I agree 100% Wow this is a dope sent … Never smelled anything like it, cant compare anything else and i get a ton of compliments … This is a TRY… No doubt .. Thanks for the review ..

   Outstanding video! I just ordered (blind buy) a bottle from FragranceX (along with 5 other bottles), so I can’t wait for it to get here. Hopefully I won’t be disappointed, but I’ll definitely give it a few chances, like I’m doing with Le Instant de Geurlain (non-Extreme version, which does smell better).

    No one can know for sure, but your sample is probably alright. I only know the pure parfum while this video review is about the Eau de Toilette (JRWRITER has also done a comparison of the parfum and the EdT), but Terre d’Hermes does indeed open with a distinctive warm, yet not too sweet (and oh so delicious) grapefruit/orange top note. I wouldn’t exactly call it fresh or sparkling, either.

    I bought a sample and it smells like rotten orange peels. Did I get a bad sample? I definitely don’t get any clean or sparkling notes, just overbearing rotting orange peels.

    this smells like a niche kind of fragrance if that makes sense i have it its very nice for me this is a tie with chanel palt egoieste even though they are different.

    Hey JR. I bought a little bottle of this fragrance and I must say I love it. I can see the reason why some people may not like it but I love it.
    I also bought John varvatos for men and I am highly disappointed. It doesnt last even 1 hour on my skin . Also, the notes are pretty generic. I personally found John Varvatos pretty boring actually but its my personal opinion

    Liked the video. I’ve been hearing good things about Hermes. Which do you prefer between the Tere D’hermes or the Hermessence Ambre Narguile? Are they both good for fall?

    Hi Jrwriter ive been watchng ur reviews 4 quite sumtime now n m totally impressed. Actually im abt to do a blind buy on Tere D’Hermes i no u dont recommend this but i trust you n i just need ur help in suggesting me sum reliable sellers on Amazon & Ebay as i want to avoid rec fake ones. Thnx
