How do you remove fragrance from a cotton/polyester bedspread?

Smells like fabric softener fragrance.

I already washed it with fragrance free All, Tide and Oxyclean. Currently have it hung up outside to air out.

Maybe try washing it with vinegar in the water, and let it air dry for a few days.

Wash it with oxy-clean, and then let it air dry. If that doesn’t work, use baking soda, but make sure to use cold water, then air dry. If nothing else just hang it outside for a few days, and the smell will eventually fade away.

do a prewash with no product

it takes a while but it will air out and the smell will eventually leave on it’s own
