I had a Prada fragrance for about a year and a half, and when I spray it on it smells like rubbing alcohol... I think it's gone bad?

fragrances should be used for a year tops
Smelling like alcohol is a definite indicator. Generally, if you keep your fragrances at room temp (easy), and away from sun (I tend to keep mine in the boxes they came in), they last longer. But there’s only so much shelf life you can get out of them!
I agree, throw it away and check your other fragrances, too.
Normally most perfume will last 2-3 years from the day they are made, then it will lose qualities and it not doing you any good if you wear it. There are a few signs to look for. First, note the color. If that begins to change then you have bad perfume on your hands and should toss it out right away. Also, if you begin to smell a tinge of vinegar, it is time to get rid of it (though you probably would anyway if it smells like vinegar). Hope it help
