   at 21:00 .. hope to see your review on this one .. this is the only fragrance that has sea shell note .

   I absolutely LOVE Noir de Noir!! The weird part is that on the initial smell it smelled like an old ladies perfume to me but on the dry down it was like a cocoa and rose heaven!! I love all 3 of the blind buy TF private blends that I purchased(TV, TL, Noir de Noir). I am looking at getting Arabian Wood next after sampling it, it is amazing!! Off Subject, you MUST do a review of Frederic Malle’s Carnal Flower…

   Marc, since you’re a fan of figs I can recommend Fig amere by Miller Harris. Fig opening – restrained with a coconut texture and marine base. Beautiful.

   By the way : if you like boozy scents then you should sniff Frapin 1697. It´s all cognac and rum and smells like an old cognac barrel :-) Then I get some dried fruits and vanilla in the drydown. Limited edition but not overly expensive : EUR 140 for 50ml.

   Noir de Noir is all chocolate and roses on me whereas Black Aoud is rose and saffron with some patchouli (at least on me). Amber Absolute is the strongest, thickest and best amber fragrance I have known so far, closely followed by Ambra Mediterranea by Profumi Del Forte :-)

   Hey Marc, I totally agree on Sur Le Toit. I work in a department store and ran down at the start of my work day to grab a spray, tucked it in my shirt, expecting it to fade, but -pow- customers were commenting on it for my whole shift; from only two sprays on paper. Unbelievable. Problem is, it doesn’t do it for me – goes straight to rose in the drydown on me :(

    I echo the comments posted – you do a fantastic job man!!!! I’ve blind bought a few based solely on your reviews and have yet to be disappointed!

    Anyhow, i was wondering if you’re in Toronto because it’s nearly imposable to find or even order online alot of niche scents. I’d love to pick up an Amouage but they don’t ship here. Any suggestions you can give would be greatly appreciated, as you’d know where to get the real deal and not some not-so-cheap knockoffs!

    I just looked up Black Afghano the main note in this is cannabis?! Heres what Fragantica say about it…”The fragrance aims to evoke the best quality of Hashish. It is the result of a quest to arouse the effects of temporary bliss.” LOL
