Can you get fragrance notes to create your own fragrances?
I want to pick up fragrances as a hobby. Are there kits, or note collections available to get into making your own fragrances?
I'd be starting off making scents for myself and maybe for my sister, and If I get good at it I could produce them for others.

Sounds interesting! However this hobby is very tricky. You need to know what to mix, how much to mix etc. especially when it comes to dealing with peppermint and stuff. Some indgredients if u mix to much can burn the skin etc. Plus there is the whole issue of how a scent will react to a persons body chemistry. Tell me is this something only u will be wearing or u just want to have a collection to keep in your house almost for show and tell etc? I think maybe u should start off with making body oils. I think that will give u a great foundation. Go to your local library in the Arts and crafts section to get some ideas. Have u ever heard of a store called “micheals” they should have a whole section on that stuff. Also try Barnes and nobles, the library as I said before and online articles. Wish u the best of luck.
